Micro Dairy

At Black Barn Hollow, we run a small but passionate dairy focused on raising Nigerian Dwarf Goats with the highest standards of care. We provide fresh, clean and tested Raw dairy from our well-loved (and spoiled) herd. Every step, from the animal care, to milking and production is done with attention, transparency, and a commitment to quality. We believe in supporting our local communities by offering wholesome, responsibly made products that reflect the love and respect we have for our animals and our land.

As a micro dairy, we focus on artisanal quality raw milk and work directly with consumers who value the nutritional benefits raw milk provides for their families. Premium quality raw milk also enables our herd share members to produce top quality dairy products such as cheese, yogurt, and ice cream. The difference in taste is something that’s hard to describe and has to be experienced.

I can’t say enough good stuff, so I hope to touch all the bases. First, this place is a must visit if you’re on the Front Range. The milk, I’d be remised if I didn’t gloat about it. That’s ultimately why we visited, the fun with the goats and beautiful views were just a welcome, added, and much appreciated bonus. Back to the topic, the milk was phenomenal, best I’ve had. I highly recommend, would’ve given 10 stars if possible. Lastly, the owner was patient, kind, and wonderful with my 9 year old. He answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. Thanks for the great experience!
